Frequently asked questions

  • Our rates are $150 an hour. Portrait sessions are usually between $200-400 total depending on how many images you are looking to receive and what type of session it is. This rate applies to all sessions, including but not limited to portrait, documentary, graduation, musician promo shot, cover art, album art, engagements, etc.

    weddings, elopements, small events are going to range around the $700-1200 range, again depending on how many people and hours are involved.

  • this can vary greatly, but about 1-2 hours for standard portrait sessions.

  • yes. once a date has been confirmed we will require a 50% deposit upfront to confirm your date and the rest due once you receive your images.

  • for weddings and elopements, 4-6 weeks. for all other kinds of portrait sessions around 2-3 weeks. we process everything ourselves, which does add time- if you are on a tighter schedule we can hand them off to a film lab which could incur more processing fees depending how many rolls were used in your session.

The fine print

For hourly portrait sessions we open our books about three months in advance, and do not allow you to book with less than two weeks in advance. 

Choose which hourly session works best for you. When you choose the set hourly option, you will be asked to fill out an intake form. The questions are optional, though the more you can tell us about what you are looking for in your session the easier it will be to bring a shared vision to life. Sometimes we don’t have all the answers and that is okay too. not sure how much time your session will be? start with the 1 hour session and we will go from there.

The sliding scale option will receive the same intake form after the initial submission. 

For all other inquiries like small events, weddings, elopements, ect. Please bypass the hourly option and submit your information in the ‘’all other inquiries and questions’’ info box. 

After your submission we will then take a few days to reflect thoughtfully, please allow us that time to do so, we will follow up with an option to schedule a consultation and/or more questions.
